Ray runs a pistol instruction program at an outdoor range an hour from Charlotte — concealed-carry certification, first-shots classes for new owners, and a Saturday fundamentals course that fills with people who bought their first firearm at forty and want to learn it properly.

Ray has always filmed his students — stance, grip, trigger press — because seeing your own habits beats being told about them. The clips lived on his phone; the paper targets went home in glove boxes; and the connection between the two was lost by the following Saturday.

Now Ray uploads each student’s session to Solberra: the drill videos, the shot-by-shot breakdowns, and a photo of the day’s target. Students buy their session and keep the whole arc — the habit they walked in with, the correction, and the group that proves it. Certification students get their qualifying run on video, which their permit paperwork never shows.
